It is an unfortunate reality that young graduates often lack the resources and support required to navigate themselves out of career slumps. At times like these, a little guidance can go a long way.
This is a sentiment that Yazhinidevi D, from Salem, Tamil Nadu, resonates well with. It was in early 2021 that she first began thinking of how developmental challenges, such as a lack of self awareness and basic life skills, can impact one’s life. This struggle with one’s self-identity and career paths inspired her to launch her entrepreneurial venture, in partnership with her husband.
In October 2021, they registered their business under the name Betawinds Learning Solutions, to enable individuals to achieve personal excellence. The ed- tech venture received a much-appreciated boost when Yazhinidevi was finalized as one of the winners of Britannia Marie Gold My Startup Contest.
Since inception, they have impacted over 500 learners and won 2 awards for their venture, with a nomination for a third.
இளம் பட்டதாரிகளுக்கு பெரும்பாலும் தொழில் மந்தநிலையிலிருந்து வெளிவருவதற்கு, தங்களைத் தாங்களே வழிநடத்துவதற்குத் தேவையான ஆதாரங்களும் ஆதரவும் இல்லை என்பது துரதிர்ஷ்டவசமான உண்மை. இதுபோன்ற சமயங்களில், ஒரு சிறிய வழிகாட்டுதல் பெரிய உதவியை செய்யமுடியும்.
இது தமிழ்நாட்டின் சேலத்தைச் சேர்ந்த யாழினிதேவி டி. 2021 ஆம் ஆண்டின் முற்பகுதியில் தான், சுய விழிப்புணர்வு மற்றும் அடிப்படை வாழ்க்கைத் திறன்களின் பற்றாக்குறை போன்ற வளர்ச்சி சவால்கள் ஒருவரின் வாழ்க்கையை எவ்வாறு பாதிக்கலாம் என்பதைப் பற்றி அவர் முதலில் சிந்திக்கத் தொடங்கினார். ஒருவரின் சுய-அடையாளம் மற்றும் வாழ்க்கைப் பாதைகளுடனான இந்தப் போராட்டம், அவரது கணவருடன் இணைந்து தனது தொழில் முனைவோர் முயற்சியைத் தொடங்கத் தூண்டியது.
அக்டோபர் 2021 இல், தனிநபர்கள் தனிப்பட்ட சிறப்பை அடைய, Betawinds Learning Solutions என்ற பெயரில் தங்கள் வணிகத்தை பதிவு செய்தனர். பிரிட்டானியா மேரி கோல்ட் மை ஸ்டார்ட்அப் போட்டியின் வெற்றியாளர்களில் ஒருவராக யாழினிதேவி இறுதி செய்யப்பட்டபோது எட்-டெக் முயற்சியானது மிகவும் பாராட்டப்பட்ட ஊக்கத்தைப் பெற்றது.
அதன் தொடக்கத்தில் இருந்து, அவர்கள் 500 க்கும் அதிகமாக கற்றவர்களை உருவாக்கியுள்ளனர்.
அதோடு இரண்டு முறை விருதுகளை பெற்றுள்ளனர். மூன்றாவது விருதுக்கான பரிசீலனையில் அவர்கள் பெயர் இருக்கிறது.
Their journey over the past 10 months has helped them shape the short-term and mid-term goals for their business. They plan to expand their services by investing in market research, upgrading their virtual learning technology and building their resources, to establish themselves as premier service providers in this space. For this purpose, they are crowdfunding the amount of 15 lakh INR.
While their educational content is currently only available for adolescents and early adults, they plan to eventually expand to all age groups. Through your contribution, their venture will have the support it needs to reach its fullest potential.
